Bio:

Ohta’s scientific background is primarily in biological research within Japanese pharmaceutical companies, focusing on areas such as microbial fermentation, molecular biology, and biotechnology engineering. Drawing on this experience, Ohta successfully led biosimilar monoclonal antibody (mAb) research and development at my current company, Meiji. In their current role as mRNA Technology Leader, Ohta is responsible for the development and regulatory management of sa-mRNA vaccines in Japan.
